Paiskeli Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By participating in a cycling experience with Paiskeli, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver

Cycling involves inherent risks such as accidents, falls, equipment failure, wildlife encounters, and unpredictable weather. While Paiskeli prioritizes safety, participants accept full responsibility for their well-being. Paiskeli, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any injuries, damages, or losses sustained during the cycling experience.

3. Safety Measures and Equipment

Paiskeli provides helmets and reflectors, which are strongly recommended for all cyclists. Choosing not to use the provided safety gear is done at your own risk. Guides carry a first aid kit for minor injuries, but medical assistance beyond basic aid is not guaranteed.

4. Conduct and Prohibited Activities

To maintain safety and enjoyment for all, the following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Reckless riding, including excessive speed or sharp maneuvers.
  • Competitive racing or unsafe overtaking.
  • Cycling under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Leaving designated cycling trails without guide permission.
  • Provoking wildlife.
  • Misusing or tampering with Paiskeli’s e-bikes.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate ride termination without a refund.

5. Financial Liability for Bike Damage

Participants are financially responsible for any damage caused to Paiskeli’s e-bikes due to reckless or improper use. Repair or replacement costs will be charged accordingly.

6. Wildlife and Environmental Disclaimer

While wildlife encounters at Mt. Kenya Wildlife Conservancy are rare, Paiskeli is not responsible for any unforeseen incidents involving animals. Participants must follow guide instructions at all times.

7. Refund Policy

Refunds are subject to Paiskeli's official Refund Policy.

8. Acknowledgment and Agreement

By participating, you confirm that you:

  • Have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.
  • Accept all associated risks and release Paiskeli from liability.
  • Agree to comply with all safety guidelines and instructions.
